RenaSan is the ONLY hypochlorous product on sale in Europe to be compliant with EU regulations.

RenaSan is fully compliant with the European Biocidal Products regulations EU528/2012. It is also approved for type 3 veterinary use. RenaSan has been independently laboratory tested to rigorous, internationally recognised standards and meets or exceeds the following standards:

BSEN 1276 (Bacterial -valuation of bactericidal activity of chemical disinfectants and antiseptics.)

BSEN 13704 (Sporicidal -Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of sporicidal activity of chemical disinfectants.)

BSEN 1040 (Standard Method BS EN 1040: 1997, for testing chemical disinfectants and antiseptics.)

BSEN 1656 (Bacterial -Chemical disinfectants and antiseptics. Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of bactericidal activity of chemical disinfectants and antiseptics used in the veterinary area.)

BSEN 13697 (Fungicidal -Chemical disinfectants and antiseptics. Quantitative non-porous surface test for the evaluation of bactericidal and/or fungicidal activity of chemical disinfectants used in food, industrial, domestic and institutional areas.)

BSEN 14675 (Virucidal -Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of virucidal activity of chemical disinfectants and antiseptics used in the veterinary field.)

As of the 1st September 2015 the EU are actively enforcing their stringent new biocides regulations EU528 (2012). The aim of the enforcement is to remove all non-compliant products from the market for the health and protection of humans, animals and the environment. The enforcement agencies in the UK are the Health and Safety Executive and Trading Standards. RenaSan is fully compliant with EU 528 (2012), and is still the only Hypochlorous product on sale in Europe to be compliant with these regulations.
